Evonik India exhibits strong presence at Kolkata International Poultry Fair, 2019 at Kolkat
7th edition of Paschim Banga Poultry Mela 2019 now called as Kolkata International Poultry Fair, the largest poultry fair of Eastern India was organized by West Bengal Poultry Federation in association with Animal Resource Development Department, Govt. of West Bengal from 19-21st February 2019 at Eco Park, New Town, Kolkata. Evonik India was present in the exhibition with a booth of 18 sq. Mt. This year about 25000 visitors visited the expo which includes poultry farmers, poultry integrators, feed producers, feed dealers, ingredient suppliers, poultry consultants, equipment manufacturers-suppliers, poultry meat processors, veterinary medicines manufacturers-suppliers and studentsacross India and neighboring countries like Bangladesh and Bhutan.
Majority of the visitors enquired about our products and value added services and appreciated our crop report publication. Our sales and technical team gave a warm welcome to the customers and prospective customers. Updated them on the new developments in the amino acid nutrition and gut health solutions. The theme of the booth aimed at Evonik’s methionine campaign, which proves MetAMINO as best methionine source for poultry. This year PROXYMetwas also part of the theme. In addition to our broad portfolio of amino acids, there was special focus on our new addition in the Evonik’s offering i.e GutCare to the Indian market, aggressively promoted during the expo, while the technical and sales team explained about the uniqueness of this product. In the threeday expo, many positive comments were received from our customers about the products, activities and services of Evonik. Evonik India looks forward to participate in future trade events in the local and International markets and fully support our customers on the road to sustainable animal nutrition.
