The Indian poultry industry has lost one of its most respected pioneers with the passing of Shri Chitturi Jagapati Rao on 29 November 2025. Born on 15 April 1933, Shri Rao leaves behind a remarkable legacy as the Founder and Chairman of Srinivasa Farms, one of India’s most trusted and progressive poultry enterprises.

A visionary leader, Shri Jagapati Rao’s unparalleled contributions played a defining role in shaping and advancing India’s poultry sector. His forward-thinking approach, strong ethical foundation, and lifelong commitment to innovation helped transform Srinivasa Farms into a symbol of excellence and reliability.

Beyond his professional achievements, Shri Rao was admired as a compassionate human being. His kindness, integrity, and gentle nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
